My name is Peter Ellis. I am currently a Graduate Stuent Assistant at the University of Washington School of Nursing, Director of naturalaxis, and a full-time student in the Master of Science in Information Management program at the University of Washington.
I enjoy reading, writing, computers, biking, hiking, and billiards, with particular subject interests in education, databases, and sustainability. My writing focuses primarily on song lyrics, short stories, fiction, and poetry (and if that isn't half of the writing genre right there, I don't know what is).
This web site is my personal space. It is the chasm between my own perception of the world and reality. In many ways, it is my laboratory: this is where I play with web site designs, publish some of my work, and keep things that I feel should be seen.
In some ways, this is my sanctuary; the true nature of the work I do. I don't ever expect that any of the content will be interesting or inspiring. The goal, instead, is to provide an insight into who I am.
It could be said that we live our lives seeking definition, seeking to understand who we are as a person. In that sense, we are disordered and indefinite. To say we are not would be to deny the nature of life itself. My work is my attempt to make sense of that disorder.
